100% of Fleet trucks are equipped with Qualcomm satellite communications. This technology allows dispatch to send dispatch instructions to drivers in the cab and for drivers to communicate with dispatch.
 
Emerson has made Cab Card through Comdata available for drivers. This technology uses the Qualcomm unit as an e-mail address, enabling drivers to communicate with friends and family, while on the road.
 
Other features made available through Qualcomm:

  • Directions provided for customer pick up and delivery points
  • Routing instructions for city to city requests made by drivers
  • On time delivery records maintained by driver arrival times
