 Emerson Transportation Division was established in 1962 as the private fleet of
Emerson Electric, a global leader in the application of innovative technologies for customers in commercial,
industrial, and consumer markets worldwide. We function as both a private fleet and as a contract carrier. We
currently are running in excess of 250 over the road tractors with a trailer to tractor ratio of approximately four
trailers to every tractor.
Emerson Transportation runs primarily a team operation. 100% of our units are Qualcomm equipped. We also
operate a computerized central dispatch in St. Louis, Missouri with inbound watts lines, and email capability. (see

We have authority for all 48 states but principally operate in the central United States. We also have
authority in Canada and have operational agreements with Mexican carriers, so our trailers can enter into Mexico
without having to be unloaded and transferred to a Mexican trailer at the border.
All drivers are highly trained professionals who are Emerson employees. Emerson offers new equipment,
competitive rates, and excellent service.
